Working on the Hybrid Regularization for Random Feature Models project under Dr. Drum and Dr. Nagy in the Emory Computational Methods for Data Science REU. Utilizing MATLAB to optimize random feature models for image reconstruction.

Undergraduate Researcher | 2024-Present

Working in the Meyers Lab under Dr. Dongah Kim on flu forecasting models.

Spartan Fitness Holdings

Summer Finance Associate | Summer 2024

Worked with the financial team at Spartan Fitness Holdings on financial data for 80 Club Pilates franchises. Cleaned, processed, and reported on location acquisition data, debt covenants, and loan data.

University of North Texas

Undergraduate Researcher | 2023-2024

Conducted traffic research with Dr. Jianguo Liu in the UNT Mathematics Department. Generated realistic networks based on Department of Transportation data and approximated gradient minima using Lagrange multipliers. Reduced traffic irregularity by 31.3% on custom traffic models and algorithms.

Undergraduate Researcher | 2022-2024

Conducted neuroscience research under Dr. McMahan in the UNT Learning Technologies Department. Developed the game with Unity and worked on the flowchart of recursive scenarios and EEG testing. Goal to help educators to understand individual children and tailor classroom experiences.

Engaged in a study of real analysis with Ms. Sara Ansari. Read through Rudin's Principles of Mathematical Analysis. Presented a talk at the Spring Directed Reading Program Symposium (link).

Topology and Data in Biology

Directed Reading Program Fall 2024

Engaged in a study of data analysis using algebraic topology, the Nerve Theorem, and Mapper with Mr. Nathan Louie. Read through Munkres’ Topology, Hatcher’s Algebraic Topology, a Topological Data Analysis paper, and the Mapper paper. Presented a talk at the Fall Directed Reading Program Symposium (link).

Rosecutting Ceremony 2024
